Ways to wear a Plaid Shirt

 Hello, fashionistas! We meet again.

If you remember my post from last Sunday, that post was similar to this today's post.
Today is about different ways to wear plaid shirt. If you, fashionistas don't know what plaid shirt is, then I'm going to tell you now. (Hihi) Plaid is a bold, rugged print. (any kind of prints designs). The pattern can be surprisingly versatile once you know how to wear it.

Here's some picture you need to see.

As you can see in those pictures, there's any kind of how to wear plaid shirts. Plain black jeans, Denim shorts, skirts will do on plaid shirts. And different kinds of colors will do too. You can wear white tank top underneath. Or you can put a leather jacket on.

Here's also a super easy way to channel the 90's trend on plaid shirt. Just simply tie a plaid shirt around your waist! A fantastic way to relax any fancy outfit and rock this cool trend.

Key to getting this right though, is looking for an oversize button down shirt as it should hang all the way down, around your knee area. Tie it low around your hips as a shirt around your actual waist, especially when you pick a flannel one, will add a lot of unnecessary bulk.
Pair them with ripped jeans, leather miniskirts or denim shorts and finish it with a pair of converse trainers  or black boots and you are good to go!

Things you'll need:
  • Plaid pieces of clothing
  • Neutral pieces of clothing
  • Plaid accessories

And here's a video to show you, my fashionistas on how to wear plaid shirt.

I love plaid shirts! I don't think they look tomboy-ish at all as long as you pair them with cute girly items. I love them with short shorts or dark skinny jeans, or even a jean skirt. And, if you don't button them up all the way, and let your cami underneath show a little, then it will look much more feminine. You could even put a belt around the waist to accentuate your curves and look even more feminine!

Till next time, Fashionistas! ;)

The 90's Grunge

Hello, Fashion Bloggers!

How are ya, ladies? Today's post will be Grunge outfits. To those who loves to dress up like Grundy, better check this one out!

 Grunge inspired Fashion Fall 2013

I never used to be a “hat person” but I find myself reaching for this one a little too much. It goes with every outfit and it’s awesome for those bad hair days we just dread. Anyways, check the image "Grunge inspired Fashion Fall 2013" above. The outfit is a little grung-y so drumroll…

If you’re ever confused on how to rock the grungy trend here’s a tip. Just add some combat boots and a dark shade of lipstick and you have been officially grungified girl.

For accessories:
  • Invest in black combat boots. Doc martens, among others, were all the rage in the '90s for men and women like.
  • Wear hats. Black fedoras and backward baseball caps were '90s essentials when it came to hats. Women oftentimes wore hats with over sized flowers or bows attached to them.
I also wanted to share this 90's pictures for you ladies. I'm sure you'll love it who is this "Hot-Who"
Johnny Depp & Kate Moss in Grunge Style '90s

I really like the modern grunge look. I like that it allows people to be individuals and wear what they like, be creative and just play. I’m always more impressed by the girl who is willing to break all the rules “fashion” lays down and take risks than the cookie cutter who does exactly what “fashion” tells her…that is where true “style” is developed.
Not to mention, Johnny Depp looks even more amazing now than in the 90s so he can wear whatever he wants!

This video is about "School-Yard Grunge". Check it out! It will help you, ladies to get some ideas. Enjoy watching! :)

Tips on how to dress up in Grungy outfits:
  • If you are dressing up for a themed party, consider dressing like a particular character from a well-known '90s teen movie or show like Clueless, Clarissa Explains it All, Can't Hardly Wait, 10 Things I Hate About You, Cruel Intentions, and more.
  • Fashionistas, watch old music videos, read old magazines, and watch movies/shows from the '90s for more fashion inspiration.
  • Remember that '90s women's style has made a comeback. Floral-print babydoll dresses, combat boots, and grunge are all popular again, so consider checking out modern clothing stores.

Back-to-School Preppy Look

Hello, Fashion bloggers!

This post is about "Preppy Look"

I've been wanting to create a look like this for a while now - the only thing I seem to be missing is a feminine bow tie. Of all my back to school outfits, this kind of look seems to be the most fitting (for me). So I decided to create a school outfit that gone casual.

Starting off with a navy blue jeans. The great thing about navy blue jean is that you can match it up with any kind of blouse and any kind of color - greens, baby blues, reds, yellows, greys, whites... as long as there is a significant contrast in hue.

So I went for a white Chanel shirt, with pink/peach cardigan and a cream scarf to create that chic, classy (no pun intended) student impression. I also wore a cream/nude boots (ankle-boot) that catches my navy blue jeans. I also added some accessories; a simple ring and last but not least, I wore my glasses - not because I'm too lazy to put on my contacts but because what better way to look study-oriented that wearing an eye glasses? Everybody knows its true.

Here's another images that will give you some ideas; Check it out!

I also put a video from YouTube to guide you, fashion bloggers, who are struggling to get an idea on how to dress up like a cool chic. This video will help you girls. Watch and look. Enjoy!

Well, that is the "Back-to-school" preppy look for today's post. Happy Wednesday, fashion bloggers! :)
